Prefecture of Chania

The western and greenest part of the mountain bike island. Well known MTB places are: Chania – the capital, Georgeopolis, Agia Roumeli and Chora Sfakion.

In this mountain bike region you will find the Kournas lake, the Imvros gorge and the Samaria gorge. Places of MTB interest are also Elafonissi and Gramvousa.
