Electric bicycle - Pedelec - E-Bike in Crete

E Bikes have finally arrived in Crete! We have extended our bike park with Electric Bikes or to be precise Pedelec’s (Pedal Electric Cycle’s), due to the fact that we have been frequently asked by the cycling community to give service to cyclers who have a limited physical condition or who just would like some extra power, while cruising through the beautiful countryside of Crete.

An ebike, Pedelec or electric bicycle is powered by the rider just as on a regular bicycle but if needed the green, quite and powerful electric motor can be engaged, in order to deliver additional “muscle”. The electric motor runs on a rechargeable Li-ion battery, with can propel the ebike to speeds up to 25 kms per hour. The radius of the Pedelec is up to 40 km, but this also depends on the terrain in which the bike is used.

We strongly advise you to reserve your Pedelec on time as E-Bikes are new in Crete and because the availability of electric bikes is limited (max 4 ebikes per booking).
